 Educational Trip to Jawahar kala Kendra

                                  A field trip to Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur, was organized on 18^th August 2018, by Botany Department for graduates and postgraduate students. Trip was accompanied by 46 students and two faculty members Dr. Reenu Agarwal and Dr. Richa Bhardwaj. This plant exhibition provides outline information on Botanical Herbal Garden, many ornamental plants and some plant species regarding the Kitchen Garden, with its natural flora and the introduced exotic species from various parts of the world. Workshop on how to create terrarium has been organised to learn about the necessary ingredients and design for a happy and thriving succulent plant environment.

The students acquired knowledge on different parts of plant and their importance in our daily life, they practically have seen and felt the texture of the plants as well; they have seen different kinds of plants and their appearance. The students very were inquisitive to know more about the plants and cooperated with each other throughout the visit. The students were very enthusiastic to share their opinions and information they had on plants and its benefits.
