  • Gold Medallist in M.Sc (Botany) in M.Sc  Final in MDS University, Ajmer.(2000).
  • Awardee of Pradeep Rampuria Memorial Scholarship, Bikaner for securing first position in B.Sc programme in Bikaner district (1998).
  • Awardee of  Dr. Dilip Singh Memorial gold Medal for securing first position in M.Sc in Govt. Dungar College, Bikaner (MDS University) (2001).

  1. Presented a paper on “Optimization of Calcium Chloride for Efficient in vitro Regeneration in Cuminum cyminum L : A Significant Seed Spice”  at 2nd International Conference on Advances in Bioinformatics  and Environmental Engineering - ICABEE, Rome from 18-19 April 2015.
  2. Co-authored two books entitled “Principles of Genetics” (ISBN (13):978-81- 7754-578-7) and “Principles of Plant Breeding” (ISBN (13):978-81- 7754-578-4) published by Agrobios (India).
  3. Invited as a Subject Expert for conducting the interviews for Botany faculty applicants aspiring for IIT /AIPMT coaching institute at SKIT, Jagatpura on 8 March, 2016

Student Achievement

  • Seema Sharma (2007-08) of M.Sc. Botany secured 20th position in RAS (2008)
  • Yasmin Akhtar of M.Sc. Botany (2007-08) is working as UGC-BSR fellow in University of Rajasthan
  • Ankita Choudhary of M.Sc. Botany (2010-2011) is selected for  Combined Defence Services (CDS)
  • Ankita Singh won the Second prize in slogan writing competition organized by Rajasthan Akshya Oorja Nigam January, 2012
  • Suman Krishania (Ph.D Scholar) won first prize for oral presentation in the Annual Conference of PTCA held at Ahmedabad, in January, 2012
  • Surabhi Kumawat, securied 74th Rank in CSIR NET in the year 2017.
  • Surabhi Kumawat, was awarded best poster presentation on National Science Day  Celebrated by MNIT, Jaipur and Vigyan Bharati, Jaipur held on 26-28 Feb., 2018.
