This course will enable the students to –
- To demonstrate technical knowledge and develop skill set that creates different types of professionals in the field of Botany like in research and development, teaching government and public services.

On completion of this course, the students will be able to: CO75: Understand the microscopic techniques and familiarize students with the external and internal structure of lower group organisms. CO76: Apply the knowledge to microscopic preparations and subsequent observation of the permanent slides of genera. CO77: Apply the knowledge of phycology and bryology in commerce. CO78: Gain an understanding into the process of evolution by means of palaeobotanical evidences.
