Department of Environmental & Life Sciences organized a guest lecture for post graduate students and the Research scholars on 30 August 2016.The Resource person was Prof. Ravi Prakash, Retd. Professor, Dept. of Zoology, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Prof. Prakash specializes in Genetics and Cell & Molecular Biology. He delivered an enriching lecture on ‘Regulation of Gene Expression in Prokaryotes & Eukaryotes’. He also explained the advantages and disadvantages of Molecular markers like AFLP, RFLP, RAPD and microsatellites. It was a learning and interactive session for the students where he answered all the queries put up by the students to their full satisfaction.
